Why this ranking matters
Choosing the right solar equipment is hard — the market is full of bold claims that are difficult to verify. This ranking exists to help installers and Australian homeowners cut through that. Every manufacturer below has been independently verified by SunWiz using installer-reported sales and installation data — not marketing, nominations, or paid placement. Use it to identify the brands trusted at scale by Australian installers.

How rankings are determined
How are SunWiz Manufacturers rankings determined?
SunWiz ranks all qualifying CER-accredited installers internally based on verified installation data sourced from the Clean Energy Regulator’s REC-Registry. The companies displayed on this page are 2026 SunWiz Award participants. Rankings of non-participating companies remain in SunWiz’s internal datasets, available to industry through our Luminate subscription.
SunWiz Award rankings are determined exclusively by verified third-party data — REC-Registry submissions. Ranking positions are determined by data, independent of whether the company chooses to participate. SunWiz cannot accept payment to improve a company’s ranking.
SunWiz has tracked every solar power system installed in Australia since 2009. Our data is referenced by corporations, NGOs, and government bodies including the Clean Energy Regulator.
