Choosing a solar installer you can trust is hard — the market is full of bold claims that are difficult to verify. This ranking exists to help the Northern Territory homeowners cut through that. Every company below has been independently verified by SunWiz using audited customer reviews — not marketing, nominations, or paid placement. We only include installers with a rating over 4.8 stars average across multiple review sites — putting them in the top 5% of installers in the country. Use this to shortlist installers you can trust.

the Northern Territory rankings are derived from Clean Energy Regulator REC-Registry data and audited customer reviews for the 2025 calendar year, scoped to installations in the Northern Territory. Ranking positions are determined by data, independent of whether the company chooses to participate.
SunWiz Award rankings are determined exclusively by verified third-party data — no judging panels, nominations, or sponsor relationships. See full methodology →
SunWiz determines these rankings by collating the ratings of each installer across each of its locations from multiple review sites, then measuring how many new reviews they received in the latest year and the weighted average review score across all of those reviews in the latest year.
SunWiz uses Clean Energy Regulator REC-Registry submission data combined with verified records from STC service providers. The data covers every solar power system registered for small-scale technology certificates in Australia, providing comprehensive coverage of residential and small commercial installations.
Companies pay a participation fee to be publicly named as a SunWiz Award winner and to receive award materials (badges, certificates, listings, marketing assets). However, ranking positions themselves are determined solely by verified installation volume from Clean Energy Regulator data and audited customer review data. Ranking positions are determined by data, independent of whether the company chooses to participate. SunWiz cannot accept payment to improve a company’s ranking.
The 2026 SunWiz Award winners were announced at the Smart Energy Conference in Sydney on 7 May 2026. Rankings cover installation activity during the 2025 calendar year. This page was last updated 27 May 2026.
Solar installers and retailers accredited with the Clean Energy Regulator are automatically considered for SunWiz volume awards based on their installation data. Qualifying companies can register their interest in the 2027 awards programme to receive participation details when rankings are finalised.
If you’d like your company to be recognised in the SunWiz Awards, register your interest. Rankings are determined by verified data — registering lets eligible companies claim and promote their result.
