SunWiz has had involvement in all sorts of innovative BIPV projects. From solar BBQ pergolas to solar fuel cell enclosures, solar eaves, solar freeway noisewalls, and solar building façades  - SunWiz has designed and delivered more innovative BIPV projects than any other Australian solar designer. SunWiz Expert Shading Assessment

Each month, SunWiz assists its client, the local distributor of a PV panel manufacturer, with an update of market developments. Expert Technical Advice Assists Rapid Expansion

SunWiz provided expert technical advice for an expanding solar franchise. The client wished to know what the minimum set-back between rows of elevated solar panels was. SunWiz provided the answer, drawn from expert solar tools. This identified an optimal solution to the tradeoff between panel angle and minimum spacing within a constrained area. SunWiz also assisted this client in the review of sales material, NSW residential wind power economics, and with a sale proposal.

SunWiz Wins Repeat Work from Council; Shares Reward with Local Installation Partner

SunWiz was the successful respondent to an RFQ from a Victorian Council that wished to identify and evaluate how they could best spend an allocated budget on a large solar power system. SunWiz invited its local partner to join the bid by providing the follow-up installation services. SunWiz will perform quarterly data analysis of the installed system.

SunWiz Assistance Helps Company Win ACT Solar Schools Tender

SunWiz assisted a rapidly expanding solar company with their response to the ACT Solar Schools Tender. This company was announced as a successful tenderer.

Commercial System Proposals and Feasibility Studies

SunWiz has assisted a solar company by developing a number of system proposals in the range of 20-30 kW, as tailored to the customer's energy requirements. Combined with an expert in-depth analysis of the export power and resulting financial outcome, many of these studies have resulted in successful sales.

Writing an RFT

SunWiz assisted in the deployment process for up to 90 kW of solar power by drafting the request for tender for a large government building.

Outsourced Technical Design - one less headache!

Assisted a newly formed solar power company with required solar design documentation. SunWiz advised of viable combinations of panels and inverters, and provided the Line Diagrams necessary for electrical connection to the distribution grid.

Wind Resource Assessment and Comparison with Solar Energy

Under the NSW Solar Bonus Scheme, wind turbines of up to 10 kW in size are eligible to earn a 60c/kWh gross Feed-in Tariff. SunWiz was commissioned by a proactive council to undertake an assessment of the wind resource within the local shire. Drawing upon custom research by an international expert wind consultancy, SunWiz produced a high-resolution (80m) wind map of the local region suitable for community-scale wind turbines and 10 kW private turbines. A financial assessment demonstrated excellent financial returns were possible, but constrained to a small number of areas. In contrast the solar resource was demonstrated to be more widespread and evenly distributed, with comparably fantastic financial outcome. SunWiz recommended development of a community share solar investment scheme, by which renters and low-income earners could profit from a solar power system installed on council facilities. SunWiz also presented findings to the mayor and councillors.

PV Financial and Site Evaluation for Councils

SunWiz was commissioned by three local councils in the Northern Rivers of NSW to undertake a study of the financial outcome that a council might expect from a PV system under the NSW Solar Bonus Scheme (gross Feed-in Tariff). A detailed site assessment handbook was also produced. Together with an interactive spreadsheet, this assisted councils to demonstrate the excellent financial return from Solar energy to their internal stakeholders (such as accounting departments). It also allowed comparison of tender responses, and ultimately resulted in the deployment of over 30 kW of solar power.

Training New Sales Staff

SunWiz presented a half-day training session for new sales staff members of an expanding solar company. This covered key purchasing motivations and concerns, financial and emotional sales levers, as targeted towards three customer types. This was backed by key market data.
